Service Above Self

We give scholarships and grants to Pamlico students.

​

Last year we provided $33,500 in scholarships:

• Three $5,000 scholarships to college-bound students

• $11,000 to Pamlico Community College for scholarships

• $7,500 to top graduates from Pamlico County high school 

We get our hands dirty.

Oriental Rotarians give more than 1,000 volunteer hours  each year. 

​

We build wheelchair ramps, we install playground equipment at Heartworks, we work with Sound Rivers to clean up waterways. 

We run a variety of profitable fundraising projects.

​

Our annual Boat Show and Nautical Flea Market has enabled us to give over a half-million dollars to local charities.

​

Our tent, table, and chair rentals raised $25,000 in 2025.

We support local nonprofits.

​

In 2025 we contributed $25,000 across 10 Pamlico county charities. 

​

We installed a generator at Hope Clinic. 

​

Our members deliver groceries for Pamlico County Fishes and Loaves.
